L. Jean Dunegan, M.D.
(B.S. with distinction in Pre-Medicine, Penn State Univ.; M.D. and six-year General Surgery residency, Univ. of Pittsburgh; Surgery Research fellowship, Harvard Univ; J.D. cum laude, Cooley Law School; Diplomate, American Board of Surgery; Fellow, American College of Legal Medicine.) Dr. Dunegan has practiced general surgery and emergency medicine for 20+ years. As a nationally recognized expert on legal aspects of medicine she publishes and lectures regularly to a wide audience. She has also served as Adjunct Professor of Health Care Law, and as a moot court judge, at Ave Maria School of Law and University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Sports: 5th Place for age, Big Sur Marathon, Monterrey CA, 2004. Finisher in 50th Annual Detroit Marathon, October 2007. Rode 100 miles in Tour de Cure for diabetes in Brighton in June 2010.
